What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sushi Chef position at Wave Sushi Island Grill?
Our restaurant is looking for skilled and experienced Sushi Chefs, or self driven individuals eager to learn a new skill. Candidates should be ready to cut fish and seafood, as well as prepare rice and vegetables in order to serve delicious and authentic sushi. We are looking for passionate, creative professionals who are capable of working with a team and who enjoy producing high-quality, beautiful sushi dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Follow instructions from Chef.
- Use sharp knives and other cooking equipment to prepare sushi.
- Make sushi rolls per Chef's instructions.
- Serve sushi rolls to customers.
- Learn about the history of sushi.
- Clean and maintain restaurant kitchens.
- Have knowledge of different types of sushi.
