Position: Food Service Worker Department: Dietary
Hours: vary between 11am and 7:30pm (approx. 20 hours)
Days: Part time, 3 days including every other weekend
The Wayne County Care Center is currently accepting applications for the position of part time FSW for the County’s 50 bed skilled/ intermediate nursing facility.
Responsibilities of a FSW:
Provide a variety of services to support the dining needs of our residents under the supervision of a cook
Assist with traying food, prep work in the kitchen, and clean up
Responsible for serving food to residents in a welcoming manner and ensuring they are satisfied
Administer constant, quality customer service to help our residents THRIVE!
Requirements of FSW:
High school diploma or GED
Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service and excellence in senior care
Ability to be a responsible and dependable team member who can take direction well
Adaptable and able to work under pressure
As a County organization, the Care Center provides excellent benefits that include:
Minimum starting wage is $11.22 increased based on experience with $1.00 extra on weekends
low cost health/ dental/ vision coverage, including a free health clinic
life insurance
