What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN Floor Nurse position at Wayne County Care Center?
Position: LPN Floor Nurse Department: Nursing
Hours: 6 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. (36 hours)
Days: 3 days per week includes every other weekend
The Wayne County Care Center is currently accepting applications for the position of full time LPN for the County’s 50 bed skilled/ intermediate nursing facility.
Responsibilities of the LPN:
Provide professional nursing care to the residents
Direct and assist the day to day functions of the nursing assistants
Keep the facility staff in compliance with licensure regulations
Ensure charting/ documentation is completed in a timely and complete manner
Communicate with all departments in order to provide quality service
Ensure that staff are mentored to provide constant, quality resident care
Requirements of LPN:
Valid LPN license
Experience in Point Click Care and long term care preferred
Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service and excellence in senior care
Ability to be a responsible and dependable team member who can take direction well
Adaptable and able to work under pressure
As a County organization, the Care Center provides excellent benefits that include:
Minimum starting wage is $22.44 increased based on experience
