What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting/Payroll Specialist position at Waypoint Detailed Delivery?
We are seeking a Payroll and AP Specialist to join our team at Waypoint Detailed Delivery. This role will be responsible for managing payroll and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employees and subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Qualifications :
- Must have Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and online version.
- Provide all A / P & A / R functions
- Reconcile statements and invoicing from Clients and manage minor vendor statements
- Reconcile company credit card statements and ensure all receipts are scanned and filed electronically
- Complete assigned balance sheet account reconciliations
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
Job Taska and Responsibilities
Knowledge, skills and Abilities :
Thorough understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures.
Knowledge of accounting software required experience with QuickBooks.
Knowledge of payroll systems required; experience with ADP or similar systems preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office products
Candidates must have experience working with confidential information, have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and be detail-oriented and Are detail-oriented and meticulous in their work.
