What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Wayside Veterinary Clinic?
We are looking for a personable, compassionate and highly detail oriented person to join our team! This is a critical position, interacting with clients throughout the day both in person, on the phone, and via email. This role requires someone who will go above and beyond to make the day of each and every client visiting the practice and get to know the clientele by name. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ability to multitask and use good judgment is required, as is the ability to work in a team environment and to maintain calm in a busy environment.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities include but are not limited to; answering multi-phone lines, process monetary transactions, balance end of day sheets, data entry, cleanliness of front lobby client communications and all typical clerical duties.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: High school or equivalent
Experience in Veterinary Field is preferred, but will train the right candidate
