Job Description
Well Care Group is hiring Security Guard, you may be expected to perform one or more of the following essential job functions:
- Be able to work overtime and on various shifts as needed; including weekends and holidays.
- Be able to maintain accurate records
- Effectively comprehend numerous policies, procedures, and concepts in order to respond appropriately to various situations
- Walk around the building
- Stand for long periods of time sometimes in excess of eight hours
Job duties
- Patrolling, monitoring, and inspecting facilities and building areas for any irregular and unauthorized activities or unsafe conditions.
- Responsible for monitoring entry and exit points to ensure building security, which includes responding to reports of fire, acts of vandalism, investigates theft, and any other unauthorized or irregular activity.
- Develops or modifies work plans, methods, and procedures, determines work priorities, and develops work schedules to provide adequate staff coverage.
- Oversees work in-progress to ensure quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of staff members.
- Trains employees in the day-to-day procedures and mastery of individual knowledge, skills, and abilities essential to completing work related tasks.
- Implements safety standards, ensures compliance, and prepares work records and reports.
- Assigns and distributes work, reviews work for accuracy and completeness, and assists employees with difficult and/or unusual assignments.
- Resolves problems encountered during daily operations and determines appropriate solutions.
- Documents situations which may be cause for disciplinary action and provides this information to the supervisor.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
