WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room for a contract assignment at a prestigious ambulatory surgery center located in Newark, Delaware.

Job Function

• Day Shift.
• 7am - 3:30pm.
• Ask patients about their health to assist in diagnosis and document symptoms and medical history for the physician.
• Identify changes in symptoms and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
• Administer medications, draw blood, and give vaccinations following established guidelines.
• Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, maintaining accurate records.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN license for the state of employment, or willingness to obtain one.
• 2 years of experience in the OR.
• Preferred: 2 years of clinic experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
