Service Writer Responsibilities
As a Service Writer with WCTractor, you will act as the crucial link between our service department and our valued customers. Ideal candidates will possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Developing strong customer relationships through effective management of service delivery.
- Creating cost estimates, logging needed parts, scheduling repairs, and assigning the most appropriate Service Technician.
- Communicating all necessary information regarding costs, parts, work, and Technicians to customers and management.
- Discussing customer requirements and relaying those requirements to Service Technicians.
- Maintaining accurate customer and equipment records.
- Checking warranties and insurance coverage.
- Monitoring customer records and providing status updates to customers and the service team.
- Scheduling regular maintenance and future repairs, and calling customers to arrange appointments.
