WDC Kitchen & Bath Center is a retailer of luxury appliances, plumbing fixtures, mattresses, outdoor cooking and countertops. We have six locations throughout Southern California and we are looking for an Order Fulfillment Specialist at our Moorpark location.
JOB SUMMARY: The Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for providing in-store support for the sales team as well as support for customers regarding open orders that they have with WDC Kitchen & Bath. The Order Fulfillment Specialist should be able to communicate well with the sales team, other members of the Order Fulfillment Department, and other internal departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Answer customer phone calls and provide them with assistance on their open orders.
- Outbound phone calls and emails to customers notifying them when the majority of their order is available and encouraging them to accept delivery and/or installation.
- Managing the DNE and 2-Day report.
- Reaching out to manufacturer’s reps to request updated ETAs for specific model numbers and/or PO numbers.
- Works together with internal departments and maintains positive relationships with departments in the organization.
- Provide in store support to the sales team by assisting with work orders, modifying orders when items on them have been discontinued, etc.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); customer service experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDES REQUIRED:
- Ability to follow policies and procedures.
- Ability to operate computer system, copier, printer and telephone.
- Familiarity with (a certain type, if applicable) terminology and concepts.
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrates good listening skills.
- Demonstrates good organizational skills
- Ability to think creatively and problem solve with little supervision.
