The role requires knowledge of electrical systems, the ability to work with various tools and equipment, and a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and other electrical components in buildings and other structures.
- Connect electrical systems to power sources, ensuring all components are properly connected and functional.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems as needed.
- Inspect and test installed systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Follow electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure correct installation.
- Collaborate with other construction or maintenance teams to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Maintain and organize tools and equipment.
- Ensure all electrical installations are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or certification).
- Completion of an apprenticeship or training program in electrical installation.
- Valid electrical license (if required by local laws).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
