What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Lead Installer - OC position at We Care Plumbing, Heating & Air?
For over 20 years, we have been servicing residents on their in-home comfort needs by specializing in Heating & Air. We are looking to bring on a few HVAC Install Technicians both lead and helper, to be full-time members of our HVAC Install Department. Our techs work full-time, year-round, and we do not lay off or furlough. Overtime pay available, hourly compensation with bonus incentive included.
Responsibilities:
The primary duties of an Install Technician are to perform retrofit replacements for HVAC systems. Working in crews to remove and replace furnaces and air conditioners. Safety and performance tests are conducted for each system(s), as well as checking the area for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks. A heavy emphasis is placed on customer service. Daily tasks include the technical aspect of the job, collecting payments, giving accurate and detailed information about each home and situation, and maintaining truck inventory levels, among others. Communication with homeowners about the status of their system after the service has been performed. Paid training included.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- 4 years in Residential HVAC Installs
- EPA Universal Certification Required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs
- Ability to frequently stand, squat, sitting for extended periods of time
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders and balance
