Seek and Sight is a web-based educational platform that teaches sight words to children with learning disabilities through STEM concepts, social-emotional learning, and personalized, curriculum-aligned tools. Seek and Sight addresses critical social and educational challenges that impact children with learning disabilities, their families, and underserved communities.
They are looking for a VOLUNTEER Graphic Designer.
Role Description:
- User Interface (UI) Design: Create wireframes and UI mockups for the Seek and Sight platform, ensuring it is visually appealing, child-friendly, and accessible.
- Game Assets and Illustrations: Design engaging, multisensory visuals for the educational games (e.g., characters, environments, and interactive elements for "Word Explorer Adventure").
- Ensure that visual elements align with the learning goals of sight word recognition.
- Marketing and Promotional Materials: Design visuals for social media, crowdfunding campaigns, and YouTube content. Create flyers, banners, and other promotional materials to attract users, educators, and investors.
- Collaborative Input: Work closely with developers and educators to ensure the visual designs enhance usability and meet the educational objectives. Provide input on how to maintain accessibility for children with learning disabilities.
Time Commitment: Volunteer 7-9 hours per week for a one-off project remotely 💻
