What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at WE Management LLC?
Position expectations, requirements and responsibilities can include:
- assists in the solution of maintenance problems
- responsible for inventory of parts and supplies needed for immediate repairs
- purchases all maintenance supplies and materials in a cost-efficient manner
- schedules work orders, both within and outside of domiciles
- completes move-in and move-out inspections
- Coordinate make ready operations with Property Manager to ensure the vacant units are made ready in a timely manner and available when needed.
- maintains shop, equipment rooms and storage areas in a neat, organized and secure condition
- Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment
- Performs maintenance replacement and repairs in areas of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other minor building repairs as long as a permit is not required to conduct the job.
- Must be able to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment
- Actively participates in performing work order maintenance repairs and make ready units
Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Obtains thorough knowledge of power, water and gas turnoffs, clean-out traps, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants.
- Assists in all aspects of the property maintenance, including: grounds, custodial, preventive, corrective, deferred and emergency maintenance.
- Performs on-call, evening and weekend emergency response
- Repairs structural wear and damage to building
- Prepares vacant apartments
- Services appliances, equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.
- HVAC Certification a plus!
