Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our growing team. We are developing a streamlined process for financial planning and asset management, and we are looking for a planning expert who can think on their feet. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to make a meaningful impact, with a commitment to continuous improvement being essential.
You will play a key role in delivering a truly unique and differentiated financial planning experience to our financial advisors and clients. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial planning strategies, tax-efficient investing, and will collaborate closely with advisors to deliver exceptional planning solutions and implementation guidance. If successful, this candidate will be in good position to become a financial advisor when the opportunity arises.
Key Responsibilities
- Support financial advisors in developing and presenting holistic financial plans for clients.
- Help design the workflow process for an efficient paraplanning model using technology as a catalyst.
- Utilize eMoney and Holistiplan to create, model, and analyze financial scenarios for several advisors.
- Integrate and leverage other planning tools (Wealth.com, IncomeLab, IncomeConductor, Orion Planning, StockOpter) to enhance the client experience.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of streamlined workflows for financial planning and asset management.
- Prepare and review comprehensive financial planning reports, including retirement, tax, estate, and insurance analyses.
- Work closely with the Investment Management team to propose investment strategies and tax-efficient investment solutions tailored to client needs and their financial plan.
- Engage with advanced planning resources inside the firm to collaborate on complex case design for HNW/UHNW cases.
- Maintain accurate and organized client documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in client meetings, as needed, to support advisors and address technical questions.
- Contribute to the development of innovative client offerings and process improvements.
Qualifications
- CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) designation is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of financial planning experience in a professional setting.
- Proficiency with eMoney and Holistiplan is required.
- Experience with one or more of the following tools is a strong plus: Wealth.com, IncomeLab, IncomeConductor, Orion Planning, StockOpter.
- Understanding of asset management strategies and tax-efficient investing principles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
