Duties
- Lead, supervise, and develop a high-performing financial aid team.
- Administer federal, state, and institutional aid programs with accuracy and equity.
- Monitor and report financial aid disbursements, compliance, and performance metrics.
- Serve as liaison to the U.S. Department of Education, VA, and other aid entities.
- Ensure timely FAFSA review, verification, SAP monitoring, and award processing.
- Collaborate across departments (e.g., Admissions, Registrar) to support student retention and success.
- Communicate financial aid options to students and families via workshops and one-on-one guidance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred.
- 3 years of progressive experience in financial aid administration, including leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of Title IV, FAFSA, VA education benefits, and financial aid best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Student Information Systems, and federal aid systems (COD, NSLDS).
