What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager 2 - Nutrition Kitchen position at Weber Human Services?
The Aging Services Department of Weber Human Services (WHS) is located in Ogden, Utah. WHS was organized by a cooperative agreement between the Weber and Morgan County governments to serve as a local authority for provision of their substance abuse, mental health and senior (Aging) services.
We provide opportunities and support for the senior citizens of Weber and Morgan Counties to increase their quality of life and extend their independence. Our programs are delivered with sensitivity to the frail elderly and those who have the greatest social and economic needs.

General job function: Supervision of food service staff, volunteers, community service workers- document their hours, efficiencies and problem or concerns,
Performance reviews on kitchen staff twice a year.
Provide cleaning schedule for all pieces of equipment with who is to do the cleaning.
Provide training with staff as needed in regular schedule staff meetings.
Make sure therapeutic diets are prepared properly, responsible for oversight of all meals prepared for home delivered and congregate and catered meals.
Make sure all food served is quality and temperature controlled.
Responsible for inspection of cleaning of kitchen and equipment.
Other duties as assigned but may not be listed.
Highly recommend supervisor experience.
Serv-Safe certified or must obtain a Serv-Safe certificate.
Experience working in large food service operation preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written skill.
High school graduate or equivalent.
