Job Summary/Basic Function
Weber State University’s Division of Online and Continuing Education is excited to offer an opportunity for a Program Manager. Under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Programs, this role is pivotal in overseeing the suite of continuing education (CE) programs. Your primary responsibility will be the maintenance and enhancement of these programs, focusing on operational analysis to drive their growth and success. You will constantly communicate with Program Consultants, especially during the crucial program launch and transition phases. Collaborating effectively with other Program Managers, you’ll play a key role in ensuring efficient program distribution and sharing responsibilities. Your tasks include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations of program performance.
- Developing and overseeing financial frameworks.
- Formulating comprehensive action plans to achieve ongoing objectives for your assigned programs.
Additionally, you will streamline participant enrollment processes, lead promotional activities for increased visibility, evaluate program effectiveness with a data-driven approach, and innovate in customer service to enhance participant satisfaction. Collaborating seamlessly with operational teams, you’ll ensure the smooth daily management of CE programs and take on special projects as directed. This position requires a blend of strategic planning, financial acumen, marketing expertise, and a commitment to exceptional customer service and collaborative teamwork.
Required Qualifications
Required:
- Two years related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess a current Utah Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, with a demonstrated aptitude for adopting new technological tools and software platforms.
