Primary Objective: To manage and supervise the activities of children and to ensure that the established policies and procedures of the Adventure Club School Age Care program are followed.
Essential Functions:

Plan and facilitate a recreational and educational program that meets the needs of all children during the school year and summer school program

Mentor, train, coach, and lead site staff teams

Create a safe, nurturing, and supportive culture and environment where everyone feels valued

Supervise and assist staff with daily program activities and implement policies and procedures, and respect confidentiality.

Assist Program Coordinator with hiring, training and staff orientation, and performance reviews

Adhere to and enforce all policies and procedures related to the overall operation and improvement of the Adventure Club Program

Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, staff, colleagues, and direct supervisor

Maintain accurate records; staff schedules, safety drills, time-clock logs, attendance, staff and child files, sign-in/out forms, etc.

Collect program data to monitor and assess the efficiency and quality of the program.

Maintain effective communication with families and the community

Assist with purchasing and maintaining a monthly budget and grant applications when needed

Confer with families on behavior, health, and general development of children.

Establish a positive and professional relationship with the building principal, and other building personnel

Perform other duties assigned
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. College credit is preferred.
Experience: Experience in school age. Management and supervisor experience preferred
Hours of Employment: Work from 9:45 a.m. to 5: 45 p.m., including supporting preschool rest time from 12:30 pm – 2:15 pm. If asked to cover the morning program, will work from 6:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and return from 12:30 p.m. to 5:45 pm.
