Job Summary
The Operations Analyst is responsible for analysis and assessment of daily operational metrics, reports and projects servicing our clients needs. This position will focus on developing and maintaining operational procedures with high level analytical thinking.
Location: This is an in-office position located at 8500 Freeport Pkwy, Irving Texas 75063
Essential Functions
- The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.
- Provide analysis and metrics to support clients:
- Primary focus on continuous improvement to support needs and demands of clients.
- Update process and procedures and assist with implementation to teams as requested by Leadership.
- Assess situations quickly and create short-term solutions with long-term plans for improvement based on input from others combined with discoveries from data analysis. (45%) - Address points of escalation by identifying root cause and analysis related to the day-to-day operations with Customer Service, Claims Processing and other areas impacting Operations. (15%)
- Generate reports based on metrics and data to identify trends and strategically partner with department leaders on communications with clients and teams with a focus on current triggers including processes, procedures, and impact. (15%)
- Enable growth and capabilities of Operations through streamlining processes and systems. (15%)
- Participate in calls and meetings as requested with clients and leadership and serve as a Subject Matter Expert reading and reporting data in order to make necessary decisions. (10%)
Qualifications
Required Work Experience:
- 4 years related work experience
- Advanced knowledge and significant experience working in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Strong oral and written presentation/communication skills
- Comfortable working across operational areas within the organization, and in direct contact with clients
- Able to work in ambiguity and present information in a way for others to understand
- Must handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
Required Management Experience
No supervisory/management experience required
Required Education
Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience Math, Computer Science, MIS or Engineering
Preferred Education:
Master's degree
