Duties and Responsibilities
- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the production supervisor
- Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
- Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
- Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
- Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs.
- Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
- Performs calibration of hand tools.
- Performs open plate inspections by using Tesa, angle plates, 123 blocks, comparator with Quadra check, profilometer and other various measuring tools.
- Helps trouble shoot machining issues when parts are found out of print tolerance.
- Responsible for FAI requirements by using internal Inspection and also performs 1st pc inspection of product of machines for each op, Pre-outside inspection and Final for all PO and print requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- At least 2 years of related experience required. At least 3-5 years of related experience preferred
- Proficient in programming CMM (Brown and Sharp CMMs ~ with PCDIMS software and Zeiss CMMs with Calypso software). Engineers Fixturing and Staging for the program applications
- Proficient in programming Keyence equipment and statistical control software
- Proficient in Blueprint Reading and GD&T
- Excellent with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Experience in Inspection Expert and High QA software
- Experience in ISO 9001:2015 / ISO 13485:2015 / FDA (21 CFR Part 820)
- Excellent communication skills
Salary : $50,000 - $75,000
