What are the responsibilities and job description for the New York Based Social Media Manager (Chinese and English Speaking) position at Weihong Shu Acupuncture?
We are a growing acupuncture practice seeking a temporary Bilingual Social Media Manager to help elevate our online presence and engage our community. This is a part-time, contract role ideal for freelancers or those balancing other commitments, with a passion for wellness and a strong grasp of social media marketing.
Responsibilities:
Strategize and implement social media and brand marketing campaigns tailored to our acupuncture services.
Film educational and promotional material on one of the sites, once a month, for 2-3 hours (Potential filming sites include: Mineola, Long Island or Bay Ridge, Brooklyn).
Copy-write for engaging and educational social media posts to make acupuncture accessible to the public and to procure potential clients.
Monitor engagement of the social media accounts and website and adjust content strategies as needed.
Details:
Hours: Approx. 5 hours/week (maximum 20 hours/month)
Rate: $35/hour
Type: Temporary/ Month-to-Month Contract
WFH for the majority of the time; must be onsite for filming.
30 minutes-1 hour weekly meeting to assess progress and devise strategies.
Ideal Candidate:
New York Based
Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English
Strong and proven experience with Instagram and web content creation
Familiar with Eastern wellness practices is a plus.
