That's why we offer: Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)Work/life balance - We mean it! 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days401K savings matchComprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonusAnd additional benefits!On the day-to-day, you will:Prepare participants for appointments, including but not limited to setting up exam rooms, checking participants in and out, and obtaining an accurate history of illnessPerform required pre-exam physical tests, such as measuring and documenting participants' vital signsPerform general medical procedures, such as dressing changes and suture removals, as directed and under specific authorization and supervision of a physicianCollect and prepare laboratory specimens as ordered, and perform routine sterilization procedures of medical and dental equipmentMaintain clinic logs and ensure exam rooms are properly stocked, sanitized, and re-prepped at all timesJob requirements include:Certification by a medical assistant certifying organization approved by the state medical boardTwo (2) years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly populationTwo (2)-year degree program in medical assistancePhlebotomy experience requiredReliable means of transportationMust obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferredWe are seeking Medical Assistants that have phlebotomy experience.
