POSTION SUMMARY:
We're looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will support and provide vacation coverage to the Finance staff, maintain office supply inventory, and complete various tasks in Quality, Human Resources, and the processing department.
Where You'll Work
This role will be based out of our North East, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility, just outside of Erie. Immerse yourself in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives and collaboration is key.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with seasonal reporting of our annual harvest to ensure proper accounting of our main ingredient delivered by our grower owners
- Monitor and maintain office supply inventory, ensuring necessary stock levels are met and orders are placed promptly to support seamless daily operations
- Support finance positions with the daily production performance reporting, inventory control, and payroll responsibilities as well as providing vacation coverage. Items such as but not limited to:
- Payroll reconciling and processing
- Balancing tanks, ingredients, and packed product inventory with physical counts
- Produce processing and packaging production reporting
- Distribute labor to production batches
- Assist with the onboarding paperwork for new hires at the plant
- Assist HR with the creation and entry of the daily labor schedule to ensure accuracy and visibility in the system
- Support new initiatives through reconciling / auditing information as we move to new systems and convert paper files to electronic.
- Support and participate in employee engagement activities and safety audit / EHS program
- Partner with Finance, HR, Processing and other departments to support daily activity on an as needed basis.
Who You Are:
- The successful candidate must possess the ability to work with minimal direct supervision. This position will be responsible for completing time sensitive work in a fast- paced environment. Candidate must be able to interact well with others at all levels of the company, specifically plant supervisory and office / technical employees. Flexibility and a positive attitude are important.
What You'll Need:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred
- 1-2 years experience in a fast paced, detail-oriented work environment
- Must possess advanced skills in word processing and spreadsheets specifically with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, etc.
- Knowledge of Oracle a plus
- Knowledge of UKG Kronos a plus
