Position Summary:
Since 1961, the Wellborn family has owned and operated Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. The goal is to provide kitchen and bath cabinets crafted by dedicated Wellborn employees with the utmost quality and care. Today, over 55 years later, the product line has broadened to include cabinetry and storage solutions to help maximize the total home living space. This role will employ care and organizational skill to continue to make Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. the most valued provider of permanent home cabinets designed for a lifetime of gracious living.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Audits product labels to ensure labels match the attached product.
- Sorts products into the appropriate packaging materials by comparing physical product to the shipping label description.
- Packages products in preparation for quality inspection before the delivery stage.
- Matches shipping label with the product label on the part with correct date and Sales order/Line-item numbers
- Uses the provided daily production sheet to locate the correct parts for packing
- Packages products in plastic sleeve or cardboard carton depending on the product.
- Uses cleaning supplies to remove imperfections from parts before packaging.
Tools, Machinery and Equipment:
- Parts buggies
- Production labels
- Daily list of packaged parts
