What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Weller Truck Parts?
Who We Are:
Weller Truck Parts began its history in Muskegon, Michigan in 1928 when Harry Weller, a small body shop owner, found value in recycled parts for the auto industry. The small business thrived so much that in 1949, Harry moved Weller Truck Parts to nearby Grand Rapids, MI. Since that time, Weller Truck Parts has continued to grow under the direction of the Weller family. In 2014, Weller became a member of the Jasper Holding family of companies and a 100% Associate Owned ESOP. Today, Weller continues to grow and out-service the competition by providing an engineered solution for efficient and cost-effective repair, removing the otherwise defunct units and parts from the path to a landfill.
What are you looking for?
Have you ever wanted to own your own company, but did not know where to start? If so, Weller may be a great place for you to start. Weller is 100% Associate Owned, which means as an associate-owner, you will own stock in a growing and stable company through the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Each month, associate-owners receive an update on where the key metrics being tracked for that year stand and then receive an annual update on the standings of their stock. Weller is far from your average company. Where many companies miss the mark, Weller hits a home run in understanding that their most important asset is the associate-owner, and for this reason, Weller offers extensive benefits beyond ownership in the company.
Weller Truck Parts additional benefits include, but are not limited to:
Weller Truck Parts offers competitive hourly wages, based on experience and skills.
Weller Truck Parts is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. Weller is an at will employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, disability, veteran, status, sex, sexual orientation, or national origin.
