In this role, you will:
- Build SQL queries to combine multiple data sources, build Tableau dashboards focused on grants, sponsorships, and volunteerism
- Understand business requirements and translate business needs into complex analysis designs and recommendations in support business initiatives and projects
- Compile and mine data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and developing expertise in these sources
- Translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations
- Be capable of initiating action and managing change in a fast-paced environment
- Efficiently and accurately deliver metrics and indicators by implementing consistent, documented, and validated processes
- Proactively recognize opportunities for improvement and implement best practices, taking ownership of the task and following through to completion in a fast-paced environment
- Lead data or LOB specific projects that involve other analytics consultants, technology and third-party suppliers.
- Work with technology teams and third-party supplier to resolve production issues and enhance database environments
- Write Agile user stories for database enhancements, collaborate with technology teams through development cycle and participate in testing and implementation of enhancements
- Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
- 5 years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4 years of experience querying SQL Server or other analytical databases
- 2 years of relevant work experience with Tableau
- Experience with Agile process and creating user stories
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization
