About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Mortgage Loan Administration Specialist.
The Lead Commercial Mortgage Loan Administration Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating and interpreting very complex commercial real estate loan documentation and servicing agreements, processing reserve requests and other matters for these loans.
Responsibilities for position include, but are not limited to:
- Oversight and responsibility for loan processing, documentation, and the loan servicing process. May include underwriting activities.
- Assist with the review and approval of approximately 2,400 reserve requests totaling over $300B on a monthly basis.
- Providing quality customer service to internal/external customers, meeting compliance, risk management and quality standards.
- Influencing performance of the business unit by working as a key member of the decision-making management team on strategy, operations/financial management and building organizational effectiveness/performance.
- Will provide guidance and assistance to more junior team members.
- Coordinating workflow between various onshore and offshore locations to ensure production service level agreements are appropriately met.
- Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross functional with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale planning for Transactions and Processing.
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth valuation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
- Make decisions in complex and multi faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
- Review, approve and issue quotes and applications on less complex loan requests
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals, may lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 7 years of commercial loan experience
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience leading a fast paced, demanding, and deadline driven production environment
- Experience supporting or directing offshore teams
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to provide strong customer service while processing complex transactions and performing extensive due diligence
- Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
