About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant in Operations as part of the Currency Transaction Reporting Regulatory Group (CTRRG). This role will be supporting the Quality Control (QC) process and assisting to lead the transformation of the QC function.
The Currency Transaction Reporting Regulatory Group (CTRRG) is responsible for reviewing, updating, and submitting currency transaction reports to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) on behalf of Wells Fargo Bank, NA.
In this role, you will:
- Supports QC leader in documentation and execution of Phase 1, QC transformation
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise for Phase 2, QC transformation
- Drive design and implementation of QC metrics and leadership dashboards
- Develop and deliver transformation updates to leadership
- Monitor metrics to ensure effective performance and control management of QC program
- Execute QC Controls
- Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans
- Recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within the utility
- Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables
- Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business
- Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with the function or affected by its outcomes
- Support daily QC process as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 7 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 6 years quality assurance, quality control, risk or compliance experience
- Strategic planning and program implementation experience
- Experience with building out effective quality control or risk programs
- Experience in developing program metrics and dashboards.
- Knowledge and understanding of Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR), Anti Money Laundering (AML), and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
- Knowledge and understanding of operational risk management and Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
- Experience with Enterprise level process improvements, implementation, and change management
- Exam, Audit, or testing experience
- Experience with Issue Management
- Leadership skills including coaching, training, facilitation, and mentoring
- Prior experience working in a financial services banking capacity with a well-rounded understanding of various banking areas/functions including operational risk management
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with proven experience articulating issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and leadership
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities while meeting stringent deadlines.
- Ability to influence executive decision-making and successfully negotiate critical issue resolution related to program initiatives
