Experienced Verification Specialist.
Minimum of 2 years verification experience in the healthcare industry.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
*Surgery Authorizations
*Procedure Authorizations
*Insurance verification for scheduled appointments
*Knowledge of Insurance verification and prior authorization platforms
*Ability to read and understand insurance benefits
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*At least 2 years experience in medical office
*High school diploma or GED is required
*Electronic Medical Records experience required, preferably eClinical Works
*Customer service oriented
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Extremely detail orientated, organized and a self starter
*Punctual and dependable
*Knowledge of HIPPA guidelines/regulations
Pre-employment drug screen and clean criminal background check required.
