Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Superintendent located in Nashville, TN. The Project Superintendent will be responsible for supervising and directing all field aspects of the construction project, managing the schedule, ensuring quality control, overseeing construction safety, coordinating with subcontractors and communicating with all stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications
- Supervisory skills, including leading and managing a construction team
- Experience in commercial construction and understanding of construction processes and materials
- Ability to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications and standards
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations
- Experience with budgeting and cost management
- Effective communication skills with clients, architects, project managers, and construction personnel
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with construction management software
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Superintendent or similar role
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Experience with green construction practices and LEED certification preferred
