Shift: 8 hours Mon - Fri
PAY RATE: $36 to $48 per hour depending on experience
Job Summary:
WellTech Partners is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Tech to join our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, and anticipating the needs of surgeons
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure
- Collect and label specimens for laboratory analysis
- Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly and handle any malfunctions during procedures
- Provide post-operative care, such as dressing changes and wound care, under the direction of healthcare providers
Experience:
- Familiar with Joint Surgery and Orthopedic operations is a plus
- Understanding of body systems
- Proficiency in data collection
- Familiarity with hospital medicine practices
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong patient care skills
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems
- Previous work in an ambulatory surgery center is a plus
- Ability to manage medical records efficiently
- CST certification.
