IT Support Assistant
Wendle Motors in Spokane, WA, is seeking an experienced IT Support Assistant. Are you tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others? Join our team as an IT Support Assistant, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our organization's technology and processes.
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-time, scheduled 5 days per week, with occasional weekend availability required
- $20-$26 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist employees with IT issues, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and providing timely resolutions
- Develop and maintain accurate and clear documentation for IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and best practices
- Provide training sessions on IT tools, software applications, and best practices
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information encountered during IT support activities
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and organize databases to ensure security and accessibility for appropriate users
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure data integrity and maintain confidentiality
- Identify areas for process optimization in collaboration with supervisors to improve workflows
- Install and upgrade software on computers
- Set up network and database accounts and maintain user accounts, email accounts, and distribution lists
- Relocate IT equipment as necessary
- Arrange, set up, and monitor video teleconferencing meetings
- Maintain current knowledge of designated support technology and suggest ideas for improving user experiences
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 1 year in IT support .
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, data analysis tools, and a strong aptitude for troubleshooting IT issues.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate data entry and a knack for spotting patterns and opportunities for improvement.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and assist wherever needed.
- Physical Capability: Able to lift and carry computer equipment up to 50 pounds.
