Wenger Construction Inc. is a growing commercial roofing, siding, sheet metal, and service company. We serve the greater Milwaukee, Fox Valley, and Madison Areas. In 2020 we did a little over $15 Million in Business and this year we are projected to do $18 Million. As we've grow, so has our need to grow and develop our office teams and structure. We are looking to hire an accountant to help strengthen our finance team.
Position Summary:
We are looking for someone with a strong background working with Accounts Payable. They must be detail oriented. Our accounts payable role requires complex coding as well as accurate data entry. Our ideal candidate will tote the line of learning the Wenger Way of doing business but will also push the boundaries and help create better ways to track, manage, and forecast financial data. We hope that someday this accounts payable employee will be able to become familiar with our accounts payable trends and help raise red flags when things seem to fall out of the norm.
Job Description
- Understands accounts payable processes
- Experienced with complex coding for accounts payable entries
- Experience entering invoices into multiple computer based systems
- Strong experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Can learn 3rd party software such as Quickbooks, Dataforma, and Procore
- Experience reconciling accounts payable
- Multi tasking skills.
- Work with other members of the accounting team to accomplish tasks together.
- Document and manage employee expense reports.
- Receipt and invoice data entry
Job Requirements:
- 4 Year Bachelors Degree: Accounting, Finance or Operations related preferred.
- 0-5 years' accounting experience. (We are open to entertaining entry level candidates who are hungry and want to grow with a good company)
- Construction Industry related experience preferred but open to outside experience as well.
- Needs to be able to work onsite at our headquarters in Campbellsport WI.
- Work week will be 40-45 hours.
Compensation:
We are looking to pay a salary that is fair based on the candidates experience. The amount of a final offer will be based on years of experience and how closely your work history and skills match our role.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
