What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strapper Tarper position at Werner Enterprises and Careers?
The goal of this position is to ensure all loads are strapped and tarped to safety regulations.

- Straps loads to flat bed trailers.
- Tarps loads to flat bed trailers.
- Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift as determined by supervisory personnel.

- Knowledge of all applicable DOT Regulations and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Pass required drug/alcohol test
- Able to handle equipment including chains, straps, tarps, tiedowns, etc.

Seeing and hearing: Read documents, computer screen answer phones, 50-74 %
communicate in person.
Standing and walking. 75-100 %
Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling. 75-100 %
Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, and writing. 0-24 %
Lift in excess of 125 pounds. 75-100 %
