The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers both in-person and on the phone, gathering prospect information to obtain the sale, some accounting entries and providing general administrative front office support.
The Customer Service Representative will:
* Greet all walk-in customers, answer and direct all phone traffic
* Ask for sale and/or attempt to schedule customers for an estimate to achieve a closing ratio of 75% (minimum)
* Perform follow-up sales calls on estimate quotes (unsold) within 48 hours.
* Explain the repair process, including insurance claims processing, payment procedures, repair needs, and expected delivery date of repair
* Schedule and record appraisal and delivery appointments. Ensure that all appraisal tracking forms are completed
* Collect and record payment for completed jobs and perform some accounts receivable functions
* Accurately post accounting entries.
* Maintain the front office and customer reception areas.
Required hours -- Monday -- Friday 7:30 a.m. -- 5:30 p.m.
Required Experience:
* 2 years of customer service experience required, preferably in a retail setting
* High school diploma or GED equivalent required, college degree preferred
* Prior use and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) as well as point-of-sale management systems
