Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Experience in an Acute Care setting, particularly in a Level II Trauma Center, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare facilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols
- Perform phlebotomy and catheter care procedures
- Assist in ventilator management for patients requiring respiratory support
- Monitor patient vital signs and update medical records accurately
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience in Occupational Health or Acute Care settings
- Proficiency in ventilator management and phlebotomy techniques
- Ability to administer medications accurately and safely
- Experience with catheter care and wound management
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for proper documentation
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
