Dental Hygienist

West Falls Church Dental is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our office is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and providing a supportive environment for our clinicians to grow and develop their skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dental hygiene services to patients, including routine cleanings and preventative care
• Conduct thorough oral exams and identify potential issues that may require further treatment
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient

Requirements

• Current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• New Grads Welcome
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health

Work Schedule

Mondays: 8:30-3:30

Tuesdays: 8:30-3:30

Wednesdays: 8:30-6:30

Thursdays: 10:00-6:00

Fridays: 8:30-3:30

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
