JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Knowledge Management Supervisor, the Knowledge Management Coordinator is responsible for monitoring a training program to ensure it meets the needs of all MedPro customers, both internal and external. The Knowledge Management Coordinator will maintain and publish a schedule of learning opportunities and assist in developing appropriate staff training to meet organizational needs. They should collaborate with MedPro leadership to design and implement an effective, measurable knowledge management program which will result in outside customer satisfaction as well as operational subject matter experts (SME’s.)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Publish and coordinate classroom schedule and class offerings.
- Communicate efficiently with all training attendees, internal clients, and external clients.
- Coordinate activities of training staff to meet current objectives.
- Coordinate regular review and update of training materials.
- Coordinate development of distance learning tutorials (WebEx).
- Work collaboratively with MedPro leadership to determine priority and develop operational customer training in claims management system.
- Develop and maintain measurement system to analyze departmental productivity and results.
- Coordinate training of new Knowledge Management staff.
- Approach all projects with a positive attitude.
- Other duties as assigned by management are accepted willingly and completed in a timely manner.

Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum education requirement is high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the billing and training environment.
- Minimum 2 years MedPro experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Displays customer services skills, strong interpersonal skills, close attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and basic math skills. Good organizational skills and ability to adapt to frequent changes.
- Be a person of integrity and character, willing to embrace change and make a positive impact in the lives of patients and co-workers.
- Ability to work with staff members at all levels of the organization in a cooperative, team-oriented manner.
- Displays computer proficiency (i.e. PC Windows, MS Office) and ability to quickly learn new applications. Efficient with Microsoft applications, to include Excel and Word.
- Proficient in use of English language both in written and verbal communication.
- Must be able to communicate with individuals of varying socio-economic backgrounds.
- General overall understanding of other MedPro services department functions.
- Good understanding of complete charge cycle, including charge entry, all aspects of insurance billing and collections and the self-pay process.
- Must be committed to the protection of confidential information, records and/or reports.
- Possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
