Description
As a volunteer at the West Morris Area YMCA, you support the work of a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Our volunteers help maintain a supportive, positive atmosphere that is welcoming, respects all individuals, and helps provide support to our program staff and motivation to our members and the community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support a culture and environment of safety.
- Establish and maintain relationships with members, program staff, and other stakeholders.
- Raise awareness of the West Morris Area YMCA mission and activities.
- Identify and help pursue new fundraising opportunities.
- Provide support to program and organizational staff.
- Communicate the organization’s mission, vision, and programs effectively to current and potential.
