We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. Duties
- Construct, assemble, and install cabinets and furniture according to design specifications.
- Utilize various tools and equipment to cut, shape, and finish wood materials.
- Perform door hanging tasks to ensure proper alignment and functionality.
- Engage in mold remediation processes as needed for restoration projects.
- Execute metal stud framing for cabinet installations in commercial settings.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and finished products during the assembly process.
- Restore existing cabinetry by repairing or refinishing surfaces as required.
- Build custom solutions tailored to client needs while adhering to project timelines.
- Collaborate with other trades on construction sites, including electrical work when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in cabinet making or woodworking is essential.
- Familiarity with construction site practices and safety standards.
- Strong skills in hand tools and power tools used in cabinetry.
- Experience with concrete forming is a plus.
- A background as a maintenance person or in related construction fields is desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy materials consistently throughout the workday.
