What are the responsibilities and job description for the Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist position at West Shore Home?

As a Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist at West Shore Home®, you will contribute to this mission by executing optimization efforts to improve user experience and maximize conversion rates for traffic coming from all our marketing channels. You will report directly to the SEM Manager and work closely with our Creative, Media, and Digital Marketing teams.
What You’ll Contribute
In this role, you can expect to:
- Champion our testing capabilities and strategies to cultivate a data-driven, experimentation/fail-fast mindset
- Create, organize, and monitor all aspects (e.g. vanity URLs, redirects, ad copy and creative elements, etc.) of landing pages developed cross-functionally between our Digital Marketing and Media teams to enhance campaign performance
- Work directly with our Compliance department to ensure landing pages meet specified legal requirements
- Execute A/B and multivariate (MVT) optimization tests that drive fundamental improvements to the website experience and performance
- Manage the end-to-end experimentation process including hypothesis setting, test design, KPI selection and goals, test execution, and results measuring and recommendations to assure continued campaign performance
- Interpret data, identify key findings, make recommendations and share learnings based on testing results to positively impact customer experience, conversion rates, future web developments and further testing iterations to guide decisions that positively impact campaign performance
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to understand customer priorities and pain points, develop robust tests/hypotheses, write creative web copy/value propositions and work with creative team to gather digital assets that improve click through and lead conversion rates
- Advocate user-centered design methodologies and incorporate qualitative and quantitative research findings to enhance optimization tests and guide decisions that improve campaign performance

- An analytical mind with several years of conversion rate optimization experience
- Experience with Google Analytics and other digital analytics tools
- Strong marketing instincts with a test & learn mindset
- Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- General knowledge of statistical concepts related to A/B testing
- Experience in front-end web design and development preferred
