YMCA Camp Chickami is a traditional summer day camp located in Wayland, MA. Founded in 1955, Camp Chickami has inspired kids with countless opportunities to laugh, lead and make lasting friendships. Together, our proven programs and trained counselors deliver meaningful and memorable camp experiences that keep families coming back year after year after year.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior camp staff experience for at least one year preferred
At least 18 years old or having at least graduated high school *Senior Counselors. Junior Counselors must be at least 16 years old.
Ability and experience in supervising children
Desire and ability to work in a camp setting
Good role model, high integrity, and adaptable
Ability to understand and follow directions
Positive attitude and ability to build a cohesive team
Current First Aid and Adult and Child CPR certifications
Committing to support and further our anti-racist work as an organization. Learning about our initiatives and the continuous work and being able to vocalize with members if needed.
Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
