About The Opportunity

This position will generate data that can support and provide the basis for grant applications, the lab requires consistent personnel to push the research forward in a timely manner.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct primary laboratory research
  • Maintaining mammalian cell cultures
  • Performing experiments using mammalian cells
  • Fluorescence microscopy
  • Conducting their own independent research projects in the lab
  • Molecular biology (cloning and PCR)

Pay Grade: 15

  • Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, biology or related field.
  • A minimum of 0-6 months of prior experience working in a research lab.
  • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Familiarity with molecular biology techniques.
  • Fluorescence microscopy and mammalian cell culture. Training will be provided.
