Westaff is looking to hire multiple Warehouse Associate Openings for Manufacturers in Meriden, Watertown, and Southington CT!
**Please note, some warehouse locations NOT temp regulated – candidates must be able to work in hot environments in summer**
Shifts: 1st and 2nd shifts available
Pay Rate: $17-21/hr based one experience
Warehouse Associate duties and responsibilities are:
- Receiving shipments: Unloading trucks, checking deliveries for accuracy, and inspecting for damage.
- Operating warehouse equipment: Forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and RF scanners.
- Stocking and organizing inventory: Placing goods in their proper storage locations using shelves, pallets, or bins.
- Picking and packing orders: Selecting products based on order tickets and preparing them for shipment.
- Shipping: Labeling, wrapping, and loading outgoing shipments.
- Inventory control: Counting stock, performing cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
Warehouse Associate requirements are:
- Must be able to read, organize and coordinate work instructions
- Prior warehouse experience – preferred
- Conform to plant safety rules and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand long periods of time and bend
- Willingness to purchase steel toe boots
