Job Description:
Uses machines and equipment to assist with manufacturing, while performing specialized tasks to create and produce a standard or customized product.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Performs typical machine shop and molding press operations
Operates a press production in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
Preparing and packing parts for material handling and/or shipping .
Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
Identify product defects and report it
Operate functional area equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards as required
Adjust machine settings as necessary to complete assigned task
Properly use safety equipment
Other job tasks as assigned by Supervisor
Job Requirements:
Ability to read and follow instructions/procedures/policies
Machine Operator experience preferred
Basic reading and math skills
Ability to follow directions
Ability to work in fast paced environment
High School diploma or GED
