Job Summary: This onsite position is responsible for a variety of analytical tasks throughout the Case Management across the WMCHealth Network. The candidate must have an attention to detail when compiling daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for Case Management leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately processes daily report summaries using appropriate resources.
- Use various programs to efficiently perform data inquiries and to accurately compile patient information.
- Collaborates with Case Management and the multidisciplinary team on identified discharge barriers as well as discharge documentation for tracking and trending.
- Reports data analysis to the VP of Clinical Care Management on performance outcomes and productivity which facilitates optimization of WMCHealth initiatives.
- Responsible for monitoring and completion of the daily work lists assigned and other ad-hoc projects.
- Collaborates with Case Management Department to compose and evaluate monthly status reports for Utilization Management meetings and department staff meetings .
- Demonstrates the ability to perform all merge tasks with proficiency.
- Maintain proficiencies related to quality assurance, resource utilization, and other Clinical Care Outcomes
- Consistently follow established HIPAA confidentiality guidelines at all times.
- Other ad hoc analysis as requested by Supervisor or Case Management Senior Leadership.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience: Entry level (0-2 years) with strong knowledge and experience using computers, electronic medical records, and Microsoft Excel. 1-3 years of experience in the medical field, knowledge of SQL and/or relational databases, preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree, required. (Social Sciences, Statistics, Health Informatics preferred)
