Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating persons, activities, and available resources and delegating duties as needed to accomplish community goals as set forth by the SFR Regional Director or VP of Single-Family Rentals and owner.
• Maintaining financial and operational accountability for the community, such as assisting in the formulation of budgets yearly, preparing and auditing all financial reports, ensuring all accounting procedures are completed in accordance with state law, and staying within the established budget throughout the year.
• Hiring, training, motivating, supervising, and leading staff, ensuring all employee paperwork is submitted to the Human Resources department timely, and maintaining the confidentiality of all employee information. 
• Working with residents to resolve complaints and regularly reviewing and maintaining records on all management activity, such as rental applications, leases, notices to vacate, move-ins, move-outs, marketing, and maintenance activity, ensuring standards are being met.
• Leading and overseeing all marketing and leasing efforts, such as touring prospective new residents, conducting weekly market surveys, and reputation management. 
• Performs any additional duties or tasks as assigned by the SFR Regional Director or VP of Single-Family Rentals.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a manager in on-site property management (single-family rental or multi-family).
• Minimum 2 years of lease-up experience on a new-construction property (single-family rental or multi-family).
• Computer skills in MS Office suite, Yardi, CRM, Blue Moon, or other similar programs.
• Strong leader with proven ability to build successful teams.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and constantly meet deadlines under tight time restraints.
• Ability to travel including overnight as needed.
• Active Florida Real Estate Sales Agent License preferred.
• College courses in business or real estate are a plus!
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Certified Property Manager (CPM) is a plus!
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!

Work Days: Monday – Saturday
Work Hours: M-F 9:00 am – 5:30 pm; Saturday by appointment only; Minimum of 40 hours per week; Must be available evenings, nights, and weekends for staffing needs and emergencies.
Required License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License in the state where the property is located, or a neighboring state in proximity to the property where applicable, or willing to obtain a Driver’s License to meet these stipulations within 60 days.
