What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Consultant position at Western PA Psych Care?
We are currently seeking highly motivated and licensed Behavior Consultants for our IBHS program. Positions include flexible schedules. **SIGN-ON BONUS**
Behavior Consultants (BC) are responsible for the overall treatment of assigned clients, which includes direct supervision of assigned Behavior Health Technicians. BC's are assigned a case load of specific children between the ages of 2-20 who have a DSM V Psychiatric Diagnosis. The BC's are responsible for creating and updating treatment plans, developing interventions, updating other treatment team members of progress, documenting client progress and maintaining the client's record of treatment. BC's provide consultation to assigned client's family and other involved parties (i.e. teachers, daycare providers, etc...) regarding a child's behavior. Services will vary according to the individual needs of the child and family.
Reports to: Clinical Director, Compliance Director and Agency Director
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Special Education, or similar human services field
- Professional license (BSL, LPC, LCSW, LSW) o
- Ability to obtain Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances
- CPSL training
- Must have a current driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
