Financial and Risk Analyst

Western Sun Federal Credit Union is seeking a Financial and Risk Analyst inAdministration. This individual will compile and analyze financial and other credit union data to identify credit union opportunities and associated risk and assist in the financial process including regulatory reporting, budgeting and planning as well as overseeing and protecting credit union assets, including vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Support the financial process by assisting the CFO in Asset Liability Management, including a working knowledge of the credit union’s policies and software used. Identifying and relaying risk related to the CECL process. Contribute to the annual budget and Call report preparation as assigned.
• Liaison with the CFO to the VISA Fraud Specialist and ATM Zone. Monitoring risk in the VISA, card and electronic service portfolio.
• Assist as needed for projects including initial evaluation, implementation and monitoring.
• Maintain Vendor Management documents. Tracking any upcoming dates such as insurance or contract renewal and relaying relevant information to impacted managers. Contribute to the annual vendor management reporting to the board.
• Coordinate building and lawn maintenance and other special projects related to the physical plants and grounds. Participating in planning sessions about any future building, construction, remodels or improvements.

Must have three to five years of similar or related experience.

Bank or credit union experience is preferred, but not required. Excellent benefits 401K. EOE/M/F.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
