Registered Veterinary Technician

Loving Family Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate, team-oriented practice in Aurora, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and personable technician who is excited to utilize their skills fully while building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets.

In This Role, You Will

• Provide high-quality patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation and recovery, dental cleanings, and dental radiographs.
• Support efficient and organized exam room flow while delivering exceptional client communication.
• Review treatment plans, deliver clear and empathetic discharge instructions, and confidently answer client questions.
• Work collaboratively with veterinarians and support staff to carry out medical orders during outpatient appointments.
• Assist in the care of a diverse patient population, including small animals, exotics, birds, and reptiles.
  
  

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented RVT who is passionate about excellent patient care, values teamwork, and is eager to work at the top of their license in a supportive and welcoming environment.

This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays.

• Compensation: $26 - $29 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum Qualifications And Skill Set

• 5 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Colorado
• Proficiency in the following skills:
• Client communication
• Anesthesia induction/intubation/monitoring
• Dental prophy
• IVC placement
• Blood draws
• SQ, IV, IM injections
